Do Termites Make Noise?

Interesting question and yes – they do!  We often hear reports of termite noises sounding like popping or crackling sounds in the wall cavity.  In actual fact often what people hear is termites ‘ talking’ to each other.  The Soldier Termites bang their heads against their tunnels to communicate with other termites in the colony when sensing a food source or danger.  If you hear these noises or see suspicious damage please call us for an inspection, our team will be happy to assist!
